Nahalukay ko din 'to sa fb Notes ko ^_^...

Last week I've been asking my friends if it's ok to wear black to a wedding. Apparently, the answer is yes. But I've read that while it's pretty much ok, old folks might not like it so I'd rather be on the safe side. I wore pink and so there goes my fb status update: Pretty in pink, prettier in black (cause I really do wanna wear black and you know why :-D).

Hours before the wedding, I heard not so good comments from other people who were not invited. I felt bad for them because I can't imagine that there are people who just can't be happy for a couple who decided to spend the rest of their lives together.

Anyways, here's a quotable quote from the groom during the celebration:

A lucky lady indeed!

I am very happy for people (friends, ex-boyfriends, and even strangers) who are in a relationship, about to start a relationship, have tied the knot recently, or will get married soon.

I heard from one of my friends after somebody introduced her fiancé to us:

"Yun ba mapapangasawa nya? Yung mukhang tanga?"

Duh! Sagot ko, "Hindi naman ah. Baka nahihiya lang (sa atin)".

And she said, "Kahit hindi sya mahiya, mukha pa rin syang tanga".

I thought it was kinda funny but I did not laugh. My mind told me that nobody has a right to decide for a person whom to spend his/her life with. With all sincerity, I answered, "At least ikakasal na sila". Enough said :-P

I believe that love is a mutual decision. Unless the relationship is immoral or will put the health of one or both parties at risk, we should just be happy for 2 persons who have decided to be together. Isn't it amazing?

I think I also got this quote from a movie:

The moment you decide to spend the rest of your life with someone, you want the rest of your life to start immediately.

Many of my friends got or are about to get married this year. I wish them all the best. I expect the year 2010 will be a year for new babies :)
