Thursday, March 4, 2010 - Galing ako sa badminton with my officemates.  Pumunta ako sa lokal ng Cubao-EDSA para um-attend ng PM 9:30 batch.  Nag-sign ako sa attendance logbook.  Maaga pa nun kaya pumunta muna ako sa canteen para bumili ng Powerplus coffee dahil alam kong aantukin ako (adiktus fezbukinensis pa kasi ako that time kaya laging puyat).

Paglabas ko sa canteen, pumunta ako sa lobby para umupo at inumin yung kape ko habang naghihintay na lumabas ang naunang batch ng PM.  Di pa ako halos nakakalapit sa bench sa lobby, may isang nakaupo dun at nagtanong, "Uy sis, san mo nabili yan?".  Puyat kasi kaya mabagal ang reflexes ko at di ko naisip sabihin ang expected na sagot from me na, "Bat mo pa tinatanong e isa lang naman ang pwedeng bilhan nito dito???".  Surprisingly, sabi ko lang, "Dyan sa loob", sabay turo sa canteen.

Fast forward nang konti... nung kinwento ko 'to kay Mama (mama nya), sabi ni Mama, "Wooo, kunwari lang yan, di naman nagkakape yan!".  Wahaha!!!  Buking!!!  Style nga naman tsk tsk :-P

Eto naman ang version nya (tinype nya 'to sa laptop ko when we were just starting out, mababasa nya na naka-publish sa sangka-fb-han)

Wasn’t able to attend Wednesday prayer meeting at my local and since it was a Thursday and I wanted to go home early I decided to take the 9:30pm batch at Cubao instead of our 10pm batch.

Arrived at Cubao local around 9:00 pm, I was early!!! Registered at the desk for my attendance. As I was writing my name, baptism date, local etc… at the corner of my eyes I saw an ugly sister... she was tall... that caught my attention… I thought she’s a basketball player… She finished logging her attendance and went to the canteen… As I finished my attendance, I peeked at the second attendance logbook to check her name (I was just curious, and curiosity kills the cat he he he).

Anyway, after finishing my attendance I sat at the bench at the lobby of the local. Not too many people yet waiting for the next batch... so I decided to sit and take a quick power nap... then this ugly sister sat besides me with a cup of coffee... I was a little bit sleepy and wanted to shake my sleepy head so I decided to chat... what the heck.

Me: (faced the ugly sister while sitting) Saan mo nabili yan?

Ugly Sis: Dyan sa loob (pointing at the canteen)

Me: Bili din yata ako.

Ugly Sis: Sige habang hindi pa nagiistart.

Me: Parang malapit nang magstart (pointing at the clock)

Ugly Sis: Hindi, may nagtext sakin na mahaba daw ang paksa ngayon.

Me: Parang puyat ka... call center ka siguro

Ugly Sis: Hindi, puyat ako sa kaka-Facebook... he he he. May facebook ka ba?

Me: Meron

Ugly Sis: Ano name mo?

Me: Pangalan ko spelling nya Jay Ee double eS Oh En

Ugly: Jesson? (pronounced as jes-san)

Me: Oo, galing ah... na pronounced mo ng tama! Kadalasan pinopronounce nila ng Jason... kaya hate ko yung name na Jason

Ugly: Ano apelyido mo?

Me: San Miguel... pero walang beer

Ugly: Saan ka nagwo-work?

Me: (company name)

Ugly: Saang (company name)?

Me: sa pinaka lumang building sa Ayala.. (building name)... landmark na nga sya.

Ugly: Ah magkalapit lang tayo... doon lang ako sa (building name)

Me: Anong company?

Ugly: (company name)

Me: (fluff talk)

Then I saw MoiMoi palaboy, he just arrived and made some kumustahan. I introduced my new found ugly friend.

Take note, ugly friend daw pero nung kami na, nakita ko sa phonebook nya ang name ko Pretty Sis wahaha :-P

Sabi nya naghahanap daw sya ng lilipatan, send ko daw sa kanya yung openings sa company namin.  Sayang nga naman yung referral bonus kaya kinuha ko contact number nya.

Pag-uwi ko galing sa PM, tinext nya ako (sya nauna nag-text ha... siguro di maka-get over sa kin wahaha!)... binigay nya email address nya at dun ko daw send yung job posts.  Eventually, I found out wala naman pala syang balak lumipat ng company and I therefore conclude na style na naman nya yung pagpapanggap na naghahanap ng lilipatang company para lang ma-contact nya ko ulit wehehe!

And the rest is history...
